These skills include communication, personal goal setting and career planning. These credits count towards your overall NCEA qualification. This course will assist students in becoming ‘work ready’. Vocational Skills: these are taught in the class and on short courses which include basic employment rights and responsibilities, self-awareness, curriculum vitae writing, career planning, and some practical trade skills.
