12 Engineering (Mechanical) - NCEA Level 2*
Course Statement | This course is designed to follow on from MCert Multi Materials course and extends the engineering skill base. The course aims to provide the training required for students to access careers available in engineering related industries. This is a practical course with theoretical modules to enhance the learning. Students will make technically challenging projects that demands a high standard of workmanship with an accent on precision and determination. Extended work on the machine tools, turning and precision measurements are covered. *This is a Unit Standards course and does not lead to a UE-approved subject. However, the credits count towards the NCEA Level 2 Certificate. |
