1 - Year 11 Courses - Macleans Certificate

The compulsory subjects Mathematics, English and PE will be automatically added to your timetables, you are only required to select your Science option and your other subject choices.

FIRST.  Science is a compulsory subject and must be selected 

   In exceptional cases you want to choose 11HEA or 11GEO as your “Science” subject you must gain permission from SLT. 

    Note that 11SCI leads to NCEA Level 2 Biology, Chemistry &/or Physics it does NOT lead to CIE AS single sciences.

The choose your THREE further Option subjects:

• Enter these subjects in your order of preference

• Choose ONE backup subject. 

If you wish to take a subject that is not available to select or you do not meet the prerequisite for e.g. an AS Level Cambridge subject  please request an exemption to be considered by HoF.
