12 Geography - NCEA Level 2

Course Statement:	The students will investigate contemporary geographical issues in New Zealand and globally, and they will undertake a research project focusing on the Tongariro Volcanic Centre. The students will study the Tongariro Volcanic Zone and development. They will apply Geography concepts and skills in an examination setting. There will be a trip to Tongariro as part of the course.
