Prerequisites

Successful attainment in 11ESL: NCEA Level 1 ESOL with at least 10 x Level 1 English credits / or equivalent.

12 ESOL - NCEA Level 2

Course Statement:	This course enables students to gain the required NCEA English credits for University literacy. In addition, students focus on improving their reading and writing skills. Standards marked (R) may be counted towards the Reading credits for Literacy. Standards marked (W) may be counted towards the Writing credits for Literacy. Standards marked (R/W) may be counted towards either (but not both) Reading or Writing credits for Literacy.
