9 Mathematics Core

This course is designed to give students a good grounding in Mathematics and prepare them for the many possible pathways available from Year 12. For most students the course is within their capabilities. For those who find Mathematics challenging there is support available in the whānau house system by way of student mentors (house tutors) and the 9MNU course. There is an extensive testing programme throughout the year, designed to identify students who are struggling, as well as those who would benefit from more advanced work.
