Course Statement: | To understand our present we must understand our past. Western civilisation has its basis in the civilisations of Greece and Rome, from politics and philosophy to medicine, science, art and engineering, to operate in the modern world we must understand its origins. Classical studies evaluates these themes through the lives, literature and art of Greece and Rome. |
