13 Engineering (Mechanical) - NCEA Level 3*
Course Statement: | This course is designed to follow on from Level 2 Engineering (Mechanical) and further extend the skill base. The course aims to provide the training required for students to access careers in engineering-related industries. This is a practical course with theoretical modules to enhance learning. Students will make a technically challenging project that demands a high standard of workmanship with an accent on precision and determination. The course also allows students to gain skills in using CAD and CNC-based machines. *This is a Unit Standards course and is not a UE Approved subject. However, the credits count towards the NCEA Level 3 Certificate which is required for UE. |
