13 Physical Education - NCEA Level 3
Course Statement: | This course will involve the development, recording and analysis of a personal exercise programme incorporating appropriate training techniques. It will develop management and interpersonal skills through practical experience. It will introduce elementary sociological and psychological concepts within sports participation. There will be a combination of theory and practical assessments. |

Recommended Prior Learning
Prerequisites: | NCEA Level 3 requires skills and knowledge from studying NCEA Level 2 in this subject. Students who have only 8 to 12 credits in Level 2 Physical Education should consult with the Head of Faculty about their likelihood of successful progress. Students will need to be academically and physically competent to succeed. |

To continue with any approved course to Level 3 you must have achieved at least 14+ credits in the Level 2 subject
plus, overall 14+ credits in 2 additional approved courses from:
12PEA 14+
or 12ENG 14+
